Viva Social — Child Safety Standards

Effective: 2026-08-13

Viva Social is an adults-only service. Nobody under 18 may create an account, hold an account, or appear in content on the platform. This page states our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), how to report it, and what we do when we find it.

It is published to meet the Google Play child safety standards policy for Social and Dating apps, and it reflects our obligations under 18 U.S.C. §2258A.

1. Our standard: zero tolerance

We prohibit, without exception and without warning:

There is no first warning, no strike system, and no appeal on the merits for CSAE. The account is terminated permanently, the content is preserved as the law requires, and the matter is reported.

2. Nobody under 18

3. How to report CSAE

In the app. Open the (...) menu on any profile or chat, choose Report, and select Child safety. This category is routed to a priority queue and is reviewed ahead of every other report type.

By email. support@technologyadvantagesllc.com, subject line "CHILD SAFETY". Do not attach or forward the material itself. Send the profile link or username, the approximate time, and what you saw.

Directly to authorities. You can always report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at CyberTipline.org or 1-800-843-5678. Outside the United States, report to your national hotline or to INHOPE at inhope.org. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911.

You do not need to report to us first, and reporting to us does not replace reporting to authorities.

4. What happens after a report

  1. Triage. Child safety reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team as the first item in the queue, ahead of the 24 hour target that applies to other categories.
  2. Immediate action. The reported account is suspended on receipt, before review concludes, rather than after. A wrongly suspended adult can be restored; a delay cannot be undone.
  3. Preservation. Where we have apparent CSAM, we preserve the content and the associated account data as required by 18 U.S.C. §2258A(h), and we do not delete it in response to a deletion request.
  4. Reporting. We report apparent CSAM to the NCMEC CyberTipline as required by 18 U.S.C. §2258A. We cooperate with subsequent law enforcement process.
  5. Termination. The account is permanently banned and the person is prohibited from creating a new one.
  6. Follow through. We do not notify the reported account that a CyberTipline report was made.

5. Prevention

6. Our point of contact

Technology Advantages LLC maintains a designated child safety contact reachable at support@technologyadvantagesllc.com (subject line "CHILD SAFETY") and at support@technologyadvantagesllc.com for legal process. Law enforcement should follow our Law Enforcement Guidelines.

7. Review

These standards are reviewed at least annually and whenever our moderation tooling, report categories, or legal obligations change. Material changes are announced in the app.
