Viva Social — Accessibility Statement
Effective: 2026-08-13
Technology Advantages LLC wants Viva Social to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, larger text, reduced motion, or assistive input.
Standard we are working to
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA for the vivasocial.online website and the equivalent platform guidance for the mobile app: Apple's Human Interface Guidelines for accessibility on iOS, and Android accessibility guidance on Android.
What is in place today
- Screen reader labels on interactive controls throughout the app, verified by an automated test suite that fails the build when a labelled surface loses its label.
- Reduced motion. Animated moments, including the celebration animation when an invitation is accepted, respect the system reduce-motion setting.
- Dynamic type. The app uses the system text size.
- Colour contrast targeted at AA for text and interactive elements against the dark interface.
- Map alternative. Discovery is available as a List view as well as a map, so finding people nearby does not depend on reading a map. The toggle is on the discovery screen.
- No colour-only meaning. Status such as verified, pending, or accepted is carried by text or an icon as well as colour.
- Keyboard navigation on the website.
Known limitations
We would rather name these than let you discover them.
- The map view itself is a visual surface. Pins are reachable through the List view, which is the accessible equivalent, but the map canvas is not independently navigable by screen reader.
- We have not yet completed an audit by an external accessibility specialist or a structured test with assistive technology users. Both are planned before we expand beyond the initial launch metros.
- Some third party surfaces, notably the Stripe Identity verification flow and the OpenTable reservation page, are operated by those companies and follow their own accessibility practices.
Telling us about a problem
If any part of Viva Social is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us and we will fix it. Email support@technologyadvantagesllc.com with the subject line "ACCESSIBILITY", and include:
- what you were trying to do,
- what happened,
- the device, operating system version, and any assistive technology you use.
We aim to acknowledge within 3 business days and to give you a target date or a workaround within 10 business days. Accessibility defects are treated as product defects, not feature requests.
If you need information that is on the site or in the app in another format, ask and we will provide it.
